How to create what you want?
HOW TO CREATE WHAT YOU WANT?
What do you want? Make a list. You are allowed to want things, I am giving you permission!
Now are the things on your list really what you want, or is it something that you think you should want? Do you like your why? Do you like your reason for wanting it? If you want a great shoe collection, lose weight, and you like your why, go for it!
Ok let’s go about getting you what you want.
Most people when asked this question, think about things that will be given to them, instead of creating what they want.
The trick is we have to work from the inside out. We have to create what we want on the inside first (feelings) before creating it on the outside.
In order to get what you want, you are going to have to change, from the person with no money to a person with money, from a single person to a person in a relationship, etc. Right now, your thinking is creating your results and if you want something different you are going to have to change your thinking.
Like anything, to get good at something you have to practice, practice, practice.
- Write down what it is that you want.
- Next you have to write down what actions you are going to take to get your result, what would you need to do.
- Then how would you need to feel in order to take these actions and what do you need to think to feel that way? This thinking you need to make unconscious.
Think about when you learned to drive, every thought was conscious, every movement was conscious. After years of driving though, you do it unconsciously, you don’t even think about it. This is how you should be with your thinking when you want to create something.
So most of us are in the in between space of “I want to own a Porsche” and “I can’t afford a Porsche”. We start wondering how we are going to do it. Before we get to the how, we are going to mentally rehearse the thought that will create the Porsche.
This is where the practice comes in, you have to practice the thought, like practicing a part in a play. Practice having that Porsche, go for a test drive, sit in one, imagine it in your garage. Now you start creating the emotion around it.
Again, if you were in a play, you have rehearsed and memorized your lines and now you have to act with feeling. You do it so often, you start to believe it. And let’s face it everything you want is actually just the feeling you think it will give you. The secret is you can have that feeling now. You can feel abundant without an extra cent in your bank account, you can feel love without a man hugging and kissing you and you can feel confident without losing any weight.
Create an amazing inner life and an amazing outer life will follow.
By the time you actually get what you want, it is almost an anti-climax, because you had already visualized having it so often. During this visualization process it is also important to feel gratitude ahead of time, before you receive.
The interesting thing is your brain does not know if something is real or just perceived, so if you visualize your brain does not know the difference. This sends out great vibrations and starts bringing you in line with people you need or resources you need in order to get what you want.
Now all of this is just a concept, and it will remain as such unless you actually practice it.
This inner work is where the magic happens. When you commit to doing the inner work your outer world will fall into place. It’s not your husband’s, bosses’, friends or childrens’ job to give you what you want, this is your responsibility.
You are in charge of doing this for yourself and this is so empowering.
Go for what you want! What do you have to lose?
