ARE YOU CREATING VALUE?

What do you have to offer the world? Most of us think about what we can get, how much money we can get, how much love, what discount…you get the idea.  Keeping on the topic of money though, if you want to make more money you have to provide more value, this could be in your job, your business or your community.  Constantly ask what value can I add?  If you provide the world with more value, you will get more value back.

Now the return value may not always be in money.  You may gain a new friendship, or someone may promote you or your work, people may request you or want to work with you.  What you gain as well is what you end up learning, you keep growing and you participate in the world.  When we stop using up all our energy trying to “fix” ourselves and use it to provide value, what could we not do?  We are not broken, we do not need to be fixed and when you get out of your own head and ask how we can add value to our lives, you are heading in the right direction.

Let’s take Oprah as an example (everyone knows who she is right?), she did not grow up wealthy and she was not given more time than anyone else, but she did apply herself.  Now how is she different from any other woman who did the same, but does not earn anywhere near what Oprah does?  It is the value that Oprah created that people wanted.  There is a direct correlation between wealth and what value you create.

If you had a passion to create as much value as you possibly could, how would you be showing up?  Instead of doing the least amount of work for your salary, why not over deliver?  Find out what it is that your boss, company, customer wants and provide that in spades.  This makes you a valuable person, the best version of you.  Now be open to receiving as the wealth will start flowing.

Everyone has something of value to offer, we all have the ability to create money.  Here you will have to trust your guidance to show what value you have to offer, but even if you don’t, pick something and go with it.  Get some momentum going and eventually you will find what resonates with you.

Which other areas in your life can you upgrade by providing more value?  Pay attention to your life, look at your daily routine, where can you add more value or where are there things that are low value that you can cut or change.  One of the high value things for me looks like learning and reading.  This means I get to know more, I get to grow and I can share my knowledge with you.

Look at the food you are eating.  Is your food nourishing and of high quality or is it predominately junk food because you are always in a rush or couldn’t be bothered?  By eating quality foods, you give your body and brain the energy to do so much more.

How about your appearance…do you take the time to look good, dress elegantly?  You show up so much better when you look good, you have more confidence.  You send a message to yourself that says I am worth it, I care about myself, I invest the time to look good.

How do you feel being in a room of people who are constantly complaining versus a room where people are creating things, learning stuff and generally positive about the future?  Personally I would like the latter room where the people are constantly growing and they can add to a conversation.  This is a far more high value and inspiring situation to have in your life.  Yes you could perhaps try to keep positive when everyone else is on a downer, but do you really want to spend your precious energy doing that?

What would you like to learn about?  Who do you need to become?  What skill sets would you like to acquire in order to be more valuable in your life?

Anytime you are experiencing new things, you are shifting your perspective and you are increasing your value.

Ladies, thank you for reading and please leave your comments (Below) for me.  I would love to hear how you are creating value in your life.
