12 Habits
I have been on my soapbox preaching about habits lately and it has been on my mind as it is time for me to select my new habits for the coming year. If you didn’t hear my YouTubes, go and listen. I have started recording each of the 12 habits I practiced this year. I have showed up and learnt so much just from concentrating on these tiny habits each month.
As a life coach dedicated to guiding businesswomen and parents of autistic children, I understand the transformative impact of intentional habits. Today, I want to invite you to create 12 purposeful habits, practiced monthly to align with and support your exceptional goal.
Imagine each month as a chapter in a book – a chapter dedicated to cultivating a specific habit that complements and propels you toward your exceptional goal. By dedicating 30 days to masterfully integrating a new habit, you are setting the stage for lasting transformation. These habits act as pillars, supporting your goal and gradually infusing your life with positive change.
By focusing on one habit per month
You create a structure that leads to consistency. Whether it’s allocating time for self-care, honing professional skills or fostering deeper connections with your autistic child, each habit becomes a building block for lasting progress.
Goals often seem daunting in their grandeur. However, breaking them down into manageable monthly habits anchors your aspirations in daily actions. This approach eliminates overwhelm and empowers you to take small, consistent steps toward your exceptional goal. You give your brain something to focus on.
12 Habits
As we have all experienced, the excitement of setting a goal can wane as time goes on. Yet, when each month brings a new, focused habit, motivation remains higher. You will experience the thrill of mastering a habit and the anticipation of embracing the next one, fueling your momentum through the year.
To start you on this transformative journey, let’s start by defining your exceptional goal. Just pick one goal. If you have too many, you will just get overwhelmed and not achieve any of them. So is your goal something to do with your business, your well-being, your family, a money goal? Just pick something, you cannot do this wrong. (If you are battling with this process, register for my Day 1 Program which is a step-by-step process to help you define what you really want.)
To give you an idea of monthly habits, you can either go and listen to the YouTubes or I will give you a month-by-month habit blueprint below for you to follow or take some ideas out of.
